Centro Cultur @ le Conero

Where: Camerano

How much: $560 for 4 weeks (9.30- 12.30, 4 days a week) for an “Intensive Group Course”.

Staying: The school is very close to some of the hotels, apartments and families where our students are usually lodged, and to the bus stop (ten minutes away from either Ancona or the seaside).  The cheapest and most popular kind of lodging among our students is living in a shared apartment, near the school. These apartments are confortable, have 2 or 3 bedrooms, bath(s) and livingroom/kitchen. They are also very close to all facilities, such as shops, bars, supermarkets and bus stop to go either to Ancona or to the beach.

Date: April 8^th or 22^nd.

Extras: Camerano is close to some of the most beautiful beaches of the Adriatic coast. In addition, the school organizes every week trips and excursions to some of the most striking and renowed places of the region.

How much: 1 week language course: Euro 440,00  + 190,00 Euro’s per week for additional weeks (1010 Euro’s for 4 weeks) .

Staying: They’ll give you estate agent contact details.

Date: Seems to start whenever you want!

Extras: During your stay in Urbania, the school will organise guided visits to cities of art, mountain bike tours, excursions into the rolling hills of the region, and offers a wide variety of activities for your free-time, such as renowned cooking courses, ceramic and art courses. The school leads you on discoveries of the ancient villages of the Metauro Valley, its territory, natural beauties and rich local histories. Where: Camerino 

How much: $988 for 4 weeks.

Staying: Flats are available with 2-3 shared bedrooms (for 5-6 people), they all have independent entrance, kitchen, TV, bathroom; they are equipped with washing machine (in the housing unit or in the apartment building). With an additional fee, you can stay in a single room (in a flat with other students) or choose a studio flat for 2 people or, alternatively, an independent studio flat.

Date: April 8^th finishing 3^rd May.

Extras: Lots of excursions and detailed example lesson schedules etc.

Where: Senigallia

How much: 4 weeks $520. Price includes lessons, didactic material, touristic material with information about the area.

Staying: Flats & apartments are offered by their partner, Dimora Accomodation Agency. Their website has some example (I think) apartments offered by this agency but they’ve no prices on it and it gives the impression that they’re expecting 4 people to live in a one bed apartment (there’s a double bed and a bunk bed). I consider myself friendly but I think sharing a bed with a stranger is probably pushing the extent I’m willing to be friendly.

Date: Courses start on a Monday and the website seems to show calendar/dates for June, July, August and September. Difficult to see whether it’s only then, for the summer term. It looks like it is.

Extras: They use a “didactic” method for their teaching – it’s more about managing to communicate and becoming interested in different lifestyles and cultures more than learning grammatical rules. Apparently there’s a variety of interesting and enjoyable activities in Senigallia. The commune of Senigallia offers a vibrant program of events (sounds good eh?) http://www.commune.senigallia.an.it
